What you say with your own mouth controls your life. Your mouth is more than an outlet for eating and talking. Your mouth is a weapon, for death or life.
Apostles James tells us that, the tongue is a little member of the body and yet, it controls your life like the rudder of a ship (James 3:4). As big as the ship is, it is only a little rudder that gives it direction as the governor or captain determines it.
You are the captain of your life. Your life is like the ship; while your mouth is your rudder, likened to the steering wheel of a car. Your mouth gives direction to your life.
If you talk wrong, your life will go in the wrong direction. If you talk right, your life will go in the right direction.
The church must be taught how to talk right. You cannot talk death and expect life. Your words are seeds. Be careful of what you are sowing in the garden of your life. I don’t have to be there to know what you sow. All I have to do is to come during harvest time and I will know what you sowed in your garden.
Talk the word only. Don’t speak your feelings and the happenings around you – they are all deceits and lies. Speak what you want to see happen in your life. Speak life; speak good things into your life. Tell yourself, I am blessed; I am anointed; the faculty of knowledge is in me; I cannot be sick; I cannot be poor; I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!
